Privacy Policy

Information we collect

Account information: your email address and/or phone number (used to send a one-time sign-in code — we don't use passwords for most accounts), and a username you choose.

Linked game accounts: when you link a game (Chess.com, League of Legends, Dota 2, Clash Royale, or Clash of Clans), we store the account identifier you provide (e.g. your Chess.com username or Riot ID) so we can fetch your stats from that game's own servers.

Gameplay data: match history, ranks, and other statistics we retrieve from the linked game's public API on your behalf, plus the AI-generated performance reports we produce from that data.

We do not collect your precise or approximate location, your device's contacts, or access your camera or photo library.

How we use your information

To create and secure your account, including sending sign-in codes by email or SMS.

To fetch your stats from the game platforms you link, and to generate the AI performance analysis you request.

To show your ranking on our leaderboards, alongside other Gameezy users.

To communicate with you about your account (for example, a notification that your analysis report is ready).

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Third parties we work with

Game platforms: to show your stats, our servers request data from Chess.com, Riot Games (League of Legends), OpenDota (Dota 2), and Supercell (Clash Royale / Clash of Clans), using the account identifier you provided. Each platform's own privacy policy governs how they handle that request.

AI providers: performance reports are generated using third-party large-language-model providers. Your gameplay statistics are sent to generate the report; we do not send your email, phone number, or password to these providers.

Infrastructure: our servers and file storage are hosted on DigitalOcean.

We do not use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs in the mobile app, and gameezy.gg does not use tracking cookies — only the strictly necessary cookies that keep you signed in.

Data storage and security

On the mobile app, your sign-in tokens are stored in your device's secure hardware-backed storage (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore), not in plain app storage.

All traffic between the app, the website, and our servers is encrypted in transit (HTTPS).

Access to user data within Gameezy is limited to staff who need it to operate the service.

Data retention and deletion

You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete Account (mobile) or your account settings (web), confirmed by a one-time code sent to your contact method.

Deleting your account immediately deactivates it and signs you out everywhere — you can no longer sign in, and your data no longer appears on leaderboards.

We keep the account record and its associated gameplay and analysis data rather than erasing it, so that the email, phone number, or username you used can't be reused to create a new account. If you'd like your data erased entirely instead, contact us at the email below.

Children's privacy

Gameezy is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights

You can review and update your account information from within the app or website at any time.

You can request deletion of your account and data at any time, as described above.

We'll update the effective date below if this policy changes, and post the updated version here. Material changes will be communicated in-app.
